At MyLuck, responsible gambling is not a footnote — it is a foundation. Every tool, every policy, and every support resource on this page exists because we genuinely believe that the best gaming experience is one you remain in full control of. For players aged 21 and above only. 21+
Why Responsible Gambling Matters to MyLuck
Gambling is entertainment — and like all forms of entertainment, it works best when it is enjoyed within healthy limits. The vast majority of MyLuck players across Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Petaling Jaya, and Shah Alam engage with the platform in a relaxed, recreational way. They set a budget, they play, and they stop. But we know that for a small number of players, gambling can become something harder to manage, and we take that seriously.
MyLuck has invested in a comprehensive suite of responsible gambling tools that are accessible to every account holder, free of charge, at any time. These tools are not buried in settings menus — they are front-and-centre, because we believe transparency and accessibility are the only acceptable standards for a platform that is committed to player welfare.
Our platform team monitors gameplay patterns for indicators of problem gambling behaviour. Where such indicators are detected, our customer support team is authorised to reach out proactively and, where appropriate, restrict account access until appropriate safeguards are in place. This is not intrusive — it is responsible.
We also work to ensure that gambling is never presented to our players as a pathway to financial gain or a solution to financial hardship. Every bonus offer, every promotional message, and every piece of platform communication is reviewed to ensure it does not encourage or normalise problem gambling behaviours.
Important: Gambling should never be used to recover money you have lost. Each game round is independent. Chasing losses is a recognised warning sign of problem gambling.
Time Awareness: Gambling platforms are designed to be engaging. Always decide in advance how long you will play, and use MyLuck's session timer to hold yourself to it.
Budget First: Decide on a maximum spend before you deposit — an amount you are genuinely comfortable losing — and activate a deposit limit on your MyLuck account to enforce it automatically.
Support is Available: Our support team is available 8am – 2am MYT, 7 days a week. If you need to talk about your gambling, we are here — judgment-free and confidential.
Your Controls — Always Available, Always Free
Every MyLuck player has access to the following protective tools at any time. To activate any tool, contact our support team via live chat or email [email protected].
Deposit Limits
Set a hard cap on the total amount you can deposit into your MyLuck account per day, per week, or per month. Once set, deposit limits take effect immediately and can only be lowered instantly — increases take a 7-day cooling-off period before activating.
Loss Limits
Cap the maximum amount you can lose over a defined period. Loss limits help you define your downside before you start playing, removing the risk of an unexpectedly large session loss that was never part of your original plan.
Session Time Limits
Set a maximum session duration. When your session timer expires, you will receive a notification and, if you choose, be automatically logged out. Time limits help you stay aware of how long you have been playing — something it is easy to lose track of.
Cooling-Off Period
Take a short break from gambling without committing to full self-exclusion. Cooling-off periods are available for 24 hours, 72 hours, 1 week, or up to 6 weeks. During a cooling-off period, your account remains open but all deposits and bets are suspended.
Self-Exclusion
Permanently or indefinitely close your MyLuck account. Self-exclusion takes effect within 24 hours and is irrevocable for the minimum exclusion period (6 months for a timed exclusion, or permanently for an indefinite exclusion). Re-registration is blocked for the stated period.
Account Activity Review
At any time, you can request a full statement of your deposit, withdrawal, and gaming activity for any period. Reviewing your own history is one of the most powerful ways to maintain honest awareness of your gambling patterns.
How to Activate Your Responsible Gambling Tools
All tools can be activated in minutes. There is no penalty, no delay, and no judgment.

Subject: SELF-EXCLUDERecognising Problem Gambling Behaviour
Problem gambling can develop gradually, and it is not always easy to recognise in yourself. The following signs are recognised indicators that gambling may have moved beyond healthy entertainment. If you identify with any of these, we encourage you to activate a responsible gambling tool, take a cooling-off period, or seek independent support. There is no shame in asking for help.
These indicators apply equally to casual players and to regular bettors. Frequency of gambling is not the only risk factor — the emotional and financial relationship a person has with gambling matters just as much.
Gambling to recover money that was previously lost (chasing losses)
Borrowing money from family or friends to fund gambling
Hiding gambling activity or lying about the amount spent
Feeling anxious, irritable, or distressed when not gambling
Neglecting work, family responsibilities, or relationships due to gambling
Gambling with money intended for essential expenses (rent, food, bills)
Spending significantly more time gambling than originally intended
Needing to gamble with larger and larger amounts to feel the same excitement
Check In With Yourself
Honest self-reflection is one of the most valuable tools available. Read through the questions on the right and answer them honestly — not for us, but for yourself. If you answer "yes" to two or more of these questions, we strongly encourage you to take a break and consider speaking with a support professional.
Answering "yes" to any of these questions does not mean you have a gambling problem — but it is a signal worth paying attention to. Our support team can help you think through your options.
Have you ever gambled with money that was set aside for household expenses, bills, or other necessities?
Have you tried to cut back on your gambling and found it difficult or impossible to do so?
Do you think about gambling frequently — planning your next session or reliving past wins or losses?
Have you ever felt the need to bet more money in a single session than you originally planned?
Have you ever lied to a family member, friend, or employer about how much time or money you spend gambling?
Has gambling ever caused you to miss work, family events, or important appointments?
Do you feel anxious, irritable, or restless when you are not able to gamble?
Have you ever borrowed money — from a person or a financial institution — specifically to fund gambling?

Responsible Gambling: Frequently Asked Questions
Tips for Keeping Gambling Healthy
Set a Budget Before You Play
Decide on a maximum amount before you log in — and stick to it. Treat it as the cost of your entertainment, not as seed capital for profit. MyLuck's deposit limits make this automatic.
Play for Time, Not for Profit
Focus on the enjoyment of the game rather than chasing a specific payout target. Set a session time limit and when it ends, close the Platform — regardless of your current balance.
Never Chase Losses
If you have hit your loss limit for the day, stop. Chasing losses with larger bets is the most common way that a manageable session becomes a serious problem. Take a break and return another day.
Avoid Late-Night Sessions
Gambling when you are tired impairs judgement and increases the tendency to make impulsive decisions. If you find yourself playing past midnight regularly, consider setting a session curfew in your account settings.
Take Regular Breaks
Stand up, step away, and take a proper break every hour. Prolonged uninterrupted play is associated with reduced decision-making quality and increased risk tolerance. Short breaks reset your perspective.
Keep It Fun
The moment gambling stops feeling enjoyable and starts feeling like an obligation, a job, or a source of stress — that is the moment to take a break. MyLuck is entertainment. It should feel that way.
Play Responsibly at MyLuck
Thousands of Malaysian players enjoy MyLuck safely every day by using the tools available to them. Set your limits, know the signs, and play at a pace that feels right for you.
